Information concerning Covid-19

We are thrilled to announce that our hotel will re-open Tuesday 20th of April. We continue to take all the precautionary measures that we can, to ensure the safety of our guests and staff members. Our breakfast restaurant will re-open as well and serve our organic breakfast buffet. It is a requirement that all guests book a table at check-in and that all guest can show a covid-19 passport. Guests are also welcome to enjoy their breakfast outside in the hotel lounge or in their room. It is only a requirement that guests can show a covid-19 passport if they wish to eat inside in our breakfast restaurant.

We know that it is a challenge to keep track of the latest local restrictions and regulations during this global pandemic. We are thrilled to annonce that our restaurant, The Shrimp, and our bar, The Club, will re-open 6th of May 2021.

General guidelines

At Hotel SKT. Annæ we follow all guidelines and requirements provided by The Danish Government and The Danish Health Authority. These guidelines impact the behavior of our guests and employees, and are there to help everyone feel safe when staying at our hotel. Below, we have listed the advised behavior under these changed circumstances.

  • Stay at home if you have symptoms
    You should self-isolate at home if you either test positive for novel coronavirus or experience symptoms of COVID-19.  You should also stay home if you only have moderate symptoms or are in doubt whether you are ill or not. The typical symptoms of COVID-19 are: dry cough, sore throat, fever, loss of sense of taste and smell, difficulty breathing or muscle pain.
  • Face mask or face shield 
    It is required that all people wear a face mask or face shield in our restaurant and in our bar. Guests are not required to wear a face mask or face shield when seated in the restaurant or bar area. Moreover, the Danish authorities has stated that it is not a requirement that guests or staff members wear a face mask in the reception area, lounge or atrium courtyard. Guests are responsible for bringing a face mask when visiting the hotel. Facemasks can also be purchased at the reception.
  • Clear information about advised behavior
    We encourage all our guests to keep a safe distance, and we have made sure that all guests have easy access to wash hands and use disinfection in all common areas of the hotel.
  • If you experience symptoms
    If you experience symptoms of COVID-19 while staying at our hotel, please contact our reception staff immediately and await further instructions.
What we do

We have joined HORESTAs COVID-19 guide “Safe to visit”, which ensures that we meet the requirements and recommendations provided by the Danish Health Authorities. Consequently, we have implemented the following security precautions in our hotel, to ensure a safe environment for our guests and staff members:

  • Safe distance
    We have organized our hotel in ways that ensure a safe distance between our guests, both inside and outside. Among other initiatives, we have installed transparent displays in our reception.
  • Limited number of people
    To follow the guidelines provided by The Danish Health Authority we have placed signs in all common areas of our hotel informing about the maximum number of people in each area.
  • Exhaustive cleaning, washing and disinfection
    We clean the hotel thoroughly several times a day, and disinfect all contact points touched by many people. This includes our elevators, staircases, door handles etc.
  • Insurance of a high level of hygiene
    All of our staff members are familiar with the requirements and recommendations provided by the Danish health authorities. Our staff members will at all times keep a safe distance to guests and will have an increased attention on hygiene. Moreover, all staff members have completed an online course concerning these measures.
  • Full control of procedures
    We have gone through our workflow and procedures to minimize the time, where there is close physical contact between guests, staff members and suppliers. Furthermore, we have prepared a clear procedure for handling instances where there is suspicion of, or confirmed case of COVID-19 infection among our guests or staff members.
  • Breakfast 
    Our organic breakfast buffet can be enjoyed in our indoor restaurant.  It is a requirement that all guests book a table at check-in and that all guest can show a covid-19 passport. Guests are also welcome to enjoy their breakfast outside in the hotel lounge or in their room.
